I needed a new saddle as the provided Italian made one was uncomfortable after about an hour. I decided to try a Peaty's Monarch. Ordering was easy and it turned up on time. I installed the saddle and took it for a cycle around the local hilly roads of Abruzzo, Italy. I was not disappointed. It reminded me of my road bike saddles and after 2 hours I was suitably impressed. It will need adjusting but I now have the decision, do I buy three more for my other bikes.

We are sorry to see it’s landed at 4/5 though, as we take those ratings seriously and, especially on a new product, they have a real impact on how the saddle is perceived.
You mentioned you still need to dial the position in. If you scroll down the product page, we’ve built a full Fit. Ride. Adjust. Repeat. guide covering height, tilt and fore/aft setup, so hopefully that helps you get the last bit sorted.
From everything else you’ve written, it sounds like the saddle itself is doing exactly what we hoped, so if there’s anything else stopping it being a 5/5, please let us know. We’d genuinely like to know what we could improve 👌🍻

Replace 2-2.4"WTB tires. so far, everything's looking good.
Got the thick mushrooms. Have tried numerous name brand grips (PNW, various ODIs, Ergon) and these are by far the most comfortable for my ATB. Still playing around with the angle and have not tried them for long rides yet, but I appreciate the asymmetrical design where the top part that touches your palms is thicker. The mushroom design is taller than ODI reflexes and lessens my death grip.
I feel the compound is softer than brands mentioned above. The ridges also feel softer compared to the OdI Reflexes.
Wish they’re more widely available locally though, wee bit more affordable and have more color options for the pro just like the non-Pros.

On the colour side, this is the first drop of the Monarch PRO range, so we had to be selective with the initial colours rather than launch every possible option straight away. If the support continues, we absolutely want to expand the range further.
On local availability, that ultimately comes down to what individual bike shops choose to stock. We’d love to see Monarch PROs in more shops, so if there’s a local dealer you’d prefer to buy from, the best thing you can do is ask them to bring them in. That kind of customer demand genuinely helps.
If there’s anything about the grips themselves that stopped them being a 5/5 for you, though, we’d genuinely like to know. We’re always trying to get the product as close to perfect as we can.

Extremely comfortable saddle, just seems to fit me perfectly. Only had it a couple of weeks, but my last ride of 35 miles was numbness free. Unlike the saddle it replaced the nose doesn't snag my baggy shorts as I get back on the saddle after standing. Highly recommended ... and the red matches my bike :-)

This is my first set of high flow valves from any company. First off the colors are top notch as expected from my original Chris King/ Peaty collabs. Second is how easy inflation is now. No more waiting for the pressure gauge to equalize. Another few sets are on order with Monarch Pros to finish up spare wheels and steeds in the barn.
I’ve been all over the map with grips. From the the standard 3 letter brand grips to $90 “suspension grips”. I found the thicc mushroom version a little too large, however the Pro knurled grips are the perfect fit. I typically ride with minimalist gloves so the grip diameter is great. I wish the Pro’s came in the original colors but the rediculous contrast on my bike matches my personality:) Zero regrets and another pair on order now that they are readily available in the US. Be sure to snag a set of the new valves while you’re at it. They are awesome.
