Peaty's Drivetrain Brush

My initial thought when I opened the package was... This brush is going to be too big to fit in some areas. The brush not only fit perfectly in all areas of the cassette and jockey wheels, but the size actually helped to hold the brush more effectively. This Brush is a must have for your bike tools.

Does the job. Bought it with the degreaser which is also great

I like that it’s wood, angled, has stiff and gear-contoured bristles, and is an appropriate size. I also recently bought cotton yarn to clean between the gears in the cassette. I used the orange “citrus” bike grease cleaner. I don’t know if I would buy it again as I have a shoebox of used Radius toothbrushes that do about as well for this purpose, though the bristles may not be as long and stiff, which is helpful for dislodging oily grit.I debated giving this 4 stars because it’s not exceptionally better than my alternative ( the Radius brushes), but it does do the job it is designed for.

it has a unique crevice to run the chain and also works well on the cassette. i however, like to use a different brush on the cassette. A bit more money than cheapo ones in packs but very good quality.

Does what it says, I am new to these kind of jobs but the brush made cleaning the chain really easy.

The brush itself isn't bad, I like the shape, it's just ridiculously expensive for a brush not dissimilar to a washing up brush you would buy for £1.50 for washing your dishes.

I like it, found wood made better than plastic ones, nice to hold it, thought brush would more hard,thumbs up.

Good brush

...of protecting your knuckles when cleaning your chain cogs and cassette. Be interested to see how long it lasts but then it's not a huge expense to replace.

Great, stiff little brush which is excellent for scrubbing the cassette. Only down side for me, personally, is that being left handed the crook in its shape means I have to use it cack-handed..! Other than that, highly recommended.

I’ve bought and used loads of different brushes for cleaning the drive train on my bikes including Park Tools and Muc Off ones, but this one has surprised me on how much better it was for cleaning the cassette, chain and jockey wheels. While fresh out the box the brush feels too soft, actually that helps you get much deeper into the cassette. Definitely my go to brush for cleaning the drivetrain

Just used it- cleaned my grimy cassette- love the fact that it is not another plastic brush.

I like it. The angle on the handle makes sense in use and it is a good size for cleaning the cassette. I like that it is wooden and not yet another plastic thing to add to the ever-growing pile of them at the end of its life. I'll probably get something else to clean the chain with, hence the loss of one star, but for now I use this and do a decent job of it. Great for the cassette, though.

Still going strong months later. Solid well made brush that does the job.As far as small brushes go she's a keeper.

Highly recommend. Sturdy and does the job really well. A bit pricey for a brush but probably will last a long time.

Simple well made brush but it is well thought out and does exactly what you need it to do. It makes cleaning the drive train a whole lot easier

Tip top. Having a specific brush for your greasy drive train that just works and doesn’t fall apart is great.

Brilliant brush. Does exactly what it says. Keeps hands from getting smashed from the cassette too
